Recent Events and Activities

Robert Cogan and Pozzi Escot were in residence at Mount Saint Mary College from March 24 to March 29, 2008. On March 25 Cogan spoke on "Global Music Education and the Arts" at the Villa Library. On March 27 Escot delivered a lecture "Music and its Role in Child Development" during a brunch at the Villa Library.

On March 28 a gala event featured presentations and a concert of Cogan and Escot compositions performed by seven world class musicians at the Aquinas Hall Theater. Compositions included "Aflame in Flight" (Cogan), "Phrases from Whirl...ds I" (Cogan), "Contexts/Memories, Version C" (Cogan), "Eure Pax" (Escot), "Aria IV" (Escot), and "Sonatina IV" (Escot).

On October 11, 2007 Robert Cogan and Pozzi Escot were the featured speakers at the inauguration of Harry Chalmiers as the new president of the McNally Smith College of Music in St. Paul, Minnesota.
